A WHOPPER of a rose!This was a new introduction by Weeks Roses in 2013. I was a little disappointed by the first blooms, large buds that when from showing color to being fully open almost overnight. Later I had a trilogy of blooms, the bright red show caught mine and other’s eye from afar. Then there can be the giant ones, the one pictured here in my garden was 7 1/2″‘s! Do believe that was the largest bloom I had ever seen. Not much fragrance, but put a couple of these large beauties in a vase and people will wonder if they’re real.
